Week 40/08

We have a crush on Alexa Chung. She is the fresh looking english/chinease model and tv hostess with a fine sense of style. She has her own personal style always looking extremly fresh and modern. It must be the simplicity of her outfits that make them stand out and look new. 

After suffering from very low self-esteem from modelling she took a break for a while and explained “I’ve used up all that neurosis – there’s none left. I’d rather have a bigger brain than smaller bones.” We see her as an inspiration to others that have gone through the same thing and seeing her glow on pictures now and feeling secure about herself shows that she took responsibility of her own life when she needed to do so, and that makes her a real Haku Hero. 

This is Alexa in her fiercest outfits:

Princess pink ruffle dress that fits her like a glove. She brings it to a different level with fierce rock chick high heel ankle boots and a black belt. It gives the outfit a little more edge to it.

Stunning on the red carpet with a dressy dress and a casual hair do and simple black pumps. It's all about the perfect mix of elegance and simlicity.

Going hippie style on a photo shoot. We predict those cat-like glasses will be the next big thing.

Alexa is a genious when it comes to mixing vintage with new clothing. Somehow she manages to always make an understated fashion statement.
